Social and Community Events

Braintree Choral Society as the town’s own Choir has been involved
in a number of Community Events supporting various organisations

Here are some which have been planned for the coming year

Saturday 27^rd Feb – 7:00pm QUIZ NIGHT	Catholic Church Hall Another evening of knowledge and fun! The Annual Fund-Raising Event!
Sunday 9^th May – 3:00pm Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance	St Mary’s Church, Bocking

These are some of the events which the Choir has taken part in during the past year

Saturday 31^st Oct Braintree Town Street Entertainment “Wish You Were Here!”	High Street – Brainntree The Choir will be singing in the High Street from 2.00 – 2.30pm – a selection of music showing our versatility as a Choir
Thursday 3^rd Dec Farleigh Hospice “Light up a Life”	George Yard under the Band Stand Service to celebrate those loved ones who have departed following cancer held in George Yard under the Band Stand when the Christmas Tree will be lit in their memory
Friday 4^th Dec	The Hawthorns, London Road, Braintree We have been invited to sing to the residents and friends of The Hawthorns – singing seasonal Carols
